Welcome back to the blog you guys! You might have noticed it looking a bit different, a new July font, and an awesome floral header. After a year, I figured it was finally time to get a new look, one that was more like me. I like this modern but still a little girly look. Let me know what you guys think!

Today's post is an awesome combination of fall colors. Maroon is my number one fall color this year, so I paired it with my my number one leather jacket. These jeans are the most comfortable and easiest to pair with anything jegging from Gap. They are their new Resolute Jean which has an elastic waist. At first, I thought an elastic waist was not for me, but after trying them on, I fell in love. I have always had a problem with the button of my jeans sticking out making it see-able through my shirt. But with these elastic waist, my problem disappears. So don't dismiss things you see in the store just because you think it won't look good on you or you think it's just for pregnant women - you might be surprised.

It is officially FALL! Now, spring and summer are my absolute favorite seasons, but fall is next. Being able to throw on tights, booties, and a scarf makes getting dressed a whole lot easier. So you might notice something about these pictures... I dyed my hair RED! It is the first time I've had it red since high school.  my favorite red, burgundy, so it's more of a purple red which looks great on us white girls.

 So if you haven't noticed, I love skirts - they are so girly but can also be dressed down. Now, let's talk about this gingham shirt! One of my favorite ways to wear button downs are to tie them in a cute little bow, pair it with this awesome flared skirt and you've got an outfit. Now, I will say, if you're looking at this outfit and thinking, "I could never pull that off," I am here to tell you - YOU ARE WRONG! Everyone can pull off anything, you just have to pair it with the right things and always stay true to your style. P.S. We are so close you guys... 2 weeks from this past Wednesday, it will officially be  F A L L ! Not that it mean it'll get cold in Georgia, that usually doesn't come until late October. So how do I transition my wardrobe in those really awkward few weeks? One of the easiest ways I do this is by throwing a vest over my summer dress. To step it up a notch, I also put on a cute felt hat and some awesome booties. Having a great fall bootie is a staple in every girls closet - dress them up or down, they are always perfect. Fun fact about me: I am freakishly obsessed with laptop backgrounds. Literally, I change mine almost every other day! Readers, I can not tell you how awesome you guys are. I have been gone for a while, and yet you guys are still consistently coming back! Trying to balance school, my Etsy business, and this blog have been a TON of fun, but school has been taking up most all of my time lately. But ya'll are way more than I could hope for for sticking with me. 

With that said, here's an easy summer outfit that I put together. This skirt is perfect for summer! It's from J.Crew's 2014 spring line, but I've found some that are similar that are linked below. This Hobo purse is actually an iPad case! It's awesome because it's functional and adorable, but Hobo always produces great quality leather so it is durable and will last me a long time. The hat is from Target back in April or so. It's felt, so it's pretty hot, but then again so is any hat in 90º weather, but I linked some cute alternatives other than felt. My sunglasses are one of my early birthday presents I receiver  and they are so amazing. They are my first pair of "real" sunglasses so I am super excited to have a pair that I'm not worries the sense is gonna pop out. These particular glasses, called "Erika", were only released a couple of weeks ago so I was oddly excited to get some of the newest hot of press ones. Rayon also has a whole place where you can customize these, or any, glasses specifically to your liking. But, if buying a $115 pair of glasses is not in your price range (it's not mine either, but I got mine $45 off, which still makes me sweat) you can grab up Targets latest knock off here! I am almost tempted to return the expensive ones and just get Targets, but I really need a good steady pair so I think I'll stick with them. Hope humpday is treating everyone great!
