Needless to say, I love denim. Especially in the spring. And on a rainy school day, I paired it with my favorite Sperry rain booties. Normally Sperry's aren't my favorite shoes, but I fell in love with these when I saw them a few years ago. This chambray shirt is a tad too tight, so I usually style it open with a fun shirt underneath. I hardly ever put my hair back into a ponytail because it is so heavy, but today I made it work because the rain in Georgia means major humidity after.

Denim and lace is a match made in heaven. And adding these amazing Enzo heels is just icing on the cake. Great outfit for a chilly spring Sunday morning.

These two pieces are a MUST for your basic wardrobe. Denim shirts go with almost everything, as does this lace skirt. I bought them both at LOFT when I worked there last year (along with my 12 pairs of shorts) and it has been one of the best purchases I have ever done. Also paired it with a nice light pink lip to bring out some color. The shoes are Enzo Angiolini.

Grabbed this clutch at TJ Maxx a few months ago for about ten dollars. But I did get what I paid for because the metallic is starting to wear off on the edges.

My Dream Swimsuit

I have found my dream swimsuit you guys!!! It is literally perfect. The perfectness comes from it being a loose fitting seersucker, but best of all, it comes in an underwired D-Cup! This is heaven for me. Being a 34D has its curses. (If you are well endowed, you totally understand this.) When beach season rolls around, it makes finding bathing suits a nightmare. Finding a suit that is cute and yet still supports the girls and keeps them under control feels almost impossible. But all those years of stressing is over! I found the diamond in the rough!

 Gosh, can you say adorable?! It also comes in peach, which I think I will end up getting because they don't have the blue in my size. {I ended up buying the peach top and the blue bottoms and it looks FAB together}

So thank you J.Crew for helping us ladies out. Bravo.

LOFT Wish List

Hello dearies, so I have a cold on this beautiful Saturday morning, so that automatically means some online shopping time. Today LOFT has a 50% off sale, so I stalked that site until I could recite it. They have some great pieces out for the spring, especially the shorts (to feed my shorts addiction) and skirts. 

Needless to say, I need all these pieces. But for today I think I will only end up with the beautiful scalloped white shorts. I've been searching for a casual moto jacket and this cotton one serves that purpose and will be on the list to get for this summers beach trips. And that cover up with the turquoise accents, is a must for my pool side time. And the peter pan shirt is adorable.

Get these shoes on Loft.com for 50% until Sunday (April 6,'14). Don't let these beauties get away from you. (I'm pretty sure I am talking to myself) Because I live in the country and hardly any one appreciates fashion, sometimes it is hard for me to wear heels out, plus I am 5'8", so I would wear these flats all the time. We have to justify our shopping right? And who doesn't need that first tan and black beauty? I definitely do.

Onto the bathing suits! Now, I have a very different view on bathing suits than most girls my age. I don't wear bikinis because I feel like it would be a stumbling block to my brothers in Christ, also, I want my body to be something special for my husband. Imagine how he will feel when he knows that he is the only one to lay eyes on his girl? Pretty great I would imagine. So I try to stick with one pieces or tankinis. MLB Opening Day

Yesterday was opening day for major league baseball!! My dad played college ball and was drafted to the minors, (but chose to have me and my brother and sister) so naturally baseball runs in my veins. My brother plays high school ball and this is the outfit that I wore to his game. It was a beautiful day yesterday in Georgia. It was about 75 degrees and a little breezy, so I paired my military jacket with my favorite stripped beach dress.

Rainy Boots Day

 Today in North Georgia was very foggy with that in-between raining and not. And having naturally curly hair that I had straightened, only made matters worse. On the bright side, it did give me a chance to wear my (almost) new short rain boots from the one and only Target! (I bought these a year ago, so I do not think they are still available)

When I go to pick an outfit, I usually start with the shoes, because let's face it, I'm a shoeaholic. Other times I have something specific to wear based off the weather and then I begin building an outfit from there. Outfit making is all about balance.

Rainy Day's Haul

 So I had a productive day. On this rainy Saturday, I ventured into town to the few stores we have and found some amazing items! This beautiful navy blue, turquoise, and purple shift dress and pearl necklace came from a local boutique Feral Outfitters that I got for 60% off. (Dress $100 $40, Necklace $21 $8 )

Faux snakeskin is alwayss in, and shift dresses are not always the right thing for me. Because I am rather curvy, tall, and have broad shoulders, it is hard to find a shift that is long enough and doesn't make me look bigger than I really am. But this one is a perfect in every way. And can you say, "The most adorable pearl necklace ever?" Yes, so well done Feral. These will be a great addition to my spring wardrobe!

And that dress?! Hottuh! I found the dress and shorts at Goody's , and much to my surprise, as I walk in, I see a BOGO sign. This is a fantasy word to shopaholics. And it was buy one get one FREE off the WHOLE ENTIRE STORE!! So I found these gems and got them both for $20 where they would both be normally $50 together. Needless to say, a great day! I found some alternatives below, but I have found that almost everything is cheaper in the store, plus you can try things on and evaluate them. Find things that you like, but also fit. Fit is essential when it comes to shift dresses. You want something that fits your shoulders snuggly, but just sits right off your hips.
